Casablanca x New Balance PROCTSEJ “Red Monogram” Releasing Late May

While its classic-yet-modern design would have arguably guaranteed markets success on its own right, the real kicker for the New Balance PROCTSEJ was NEW BALANCE FUELCELL PROPEL V2 HOMBRE. The hype carried on longer than expected through to its mainline drops, but by the time it arrived back to Casablanca for a sophomore collection, it somewhat fell flat on its face. Granted, the model is still moving units (and then some) — but it appears that the first wave has settled. That is until now, with a third effort from the label already drumming up significant interest across social media and message boards alike.

Teased by brand standard manager Joe Grondin, this upcoming New Balance PROCTSEJ release comes equipped with Casablanca’s seasonal Monogramme pattern that was first introduced as part of its Autumn/Winter collection. With its heritage high-fashion appeal, the fabric features 550s strands of gold and green atop a bordeaux base, seen here gracing the forefoot and rear overlays. Special banding is also placed down the length of the sail-tinted tongue, while most else appears to arrive in their now-signature mix of white perforated leather, white midsoles, and green rubber outsoles.

Update 12.30.20 A second colorway of the Casablanca x New Balance PROCTSEJ “Monogramme” has been revealed. The white-based pair features beige and bright green Monogramme prints along with hints of pink at the midsole and midfoot N trim. Greens used at the laces and outsole are significantly more vibrant than the first-previewed option, while tinted tongues and ribbon trim remain consistent.

Update 05.06.20 Casablanca has finally teased it’s original Red Monogram New Balance PROCTSEJ for release, taking to Instagram yesterday to hint and an impending drop. Intuition this stage, a release is expected in May 2021, though it is yet to be confirmed by either party. Update 05.06.20 Casablanca has confirmed a two-pronged release for their “Red Monogram” New Balance PROCTSEJ, with pairs set to hit CasablancaParis.comon May 21st, followed by a wider retail release on May 28th.
