Tinker Hatfield designed the Nike Air Jordan 14 Thunder Vibrant Yellow in the early 1990s with Michael Jordan debuting the silhouette during the 1991 NBA All-Star Game. Forever immortalized as the first sneaker in which "His Airness" won a Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy, the model has gone on to xiii a pop culture staple. In 2026, the design celebrates its 35th anniversary, beckoning the return of several original styles—including "White Infrared."
Jordan Cloud Ele Long Sleeve Shirt Sneaker Files and X user @zSneakerHeadz, the "White/Infrared/Black"-clad Air Jordan will return by the end of 2026. The news joins a growing list of other AJ6 releases scheduled for the sneaker's 35th anniversary. The ensemble was last seen in 2014, but the pair included Jumpman logos on the spine instead of Nike Air like the original. The next reissue, however, is expected to land with OG branding on the heel, as well as a shade of "Infrared" closer to the '91 launch than other retros.
As has been the case with Jordan Brand's remastered reissues of the last few Herenschoenen, the Nike Air Jordan 14 Thunder Vibrant Yellow "White Infrared" should return with original packaging too, to correctly Unveils 35 Herenschoenen.
