Nike air jordan retro "Reverse Infrared" Releases Feb. 14, 2026 (NBA All-Star Weekend)

As part of the Nike air jordan retro’s 35th anniversary celebration, Jordan Brand is reaching deep into its archive to bring a long-lost sample to life. The Nike air jordan retro “Reverse Infrared”—originally known as the “Infrared Salesman Sample” from 1999—is officially set to make its long-awaited tees debut in Spring 2026.

While many expected the return of the classic OG “Infrared” for the milestone year, SUDADERA JORDAN VERT TAPEs have confirmed that the “Reverse” version will be the one hitting shelves instead. The colorway is nearly identical to the original, save for a few notable tweaks that flip key portions of the design.

On this version, the Infrared and black midsole accents swap placements at the forefoot, subtly but noticeably shifting the visual balance of the shoe. The heel’s Nike Air branding also appears in a bright Infrared hue, distinguishing it from the more understated embroidery found on past iterations.

The “Reverse Infrared” was first seen in Jordan Brand’s 1999 salesman catalog before being scrapped. Now, more than two decades later, the alternative is due.
