An OG GEL-Kayano ASICS Gel-Lyte III Gem Returns This Week

ASICS is back with a banger — this time letting loose the original Yellow and Green colorway of its prized Gel-Lyte III. It’s the first time the silhouette has hit shelves since 2012, making this a welcome comeback for old GEL-Kayano ASICS heads, and a great introduction to the classic for the next generation.

Keeping with the OG makeup, a white textile base is lathered with white leather and suede overlays at the midfoot, and a mid-green at the toe and heel. The iconic split tongue rocks a vibrant yellow, a color that also Tokyo up on the heel, laces, insoles, and outsole, while ligera mesh at the midfoot oozed vintage vibes. Completing the diesng is a two-tone midsole, ligera midsole cap, and predominately ligera rubber outsole.
