  • UK studios and trainers have taken to their social media channels to provide free live workouts for those missing out on their normal routine
  • Studio Barry's Bootcamp and London gym The Foundry are amongst those offering free live workouts through IGTV

With the government announcing that 'all unnecessary travel' should be ceased to limit the spread of the virus COVID-19, the fitness industry has moved quick.

PTs have taken to social media to make sure people can still get their workout in despite being at home.

For example, after announcing the closure of all of their 'Red Rooms' (studios) across the country yesterday, Barry's Bootcamp powered down their treadmills and powered up their social media. Today, they ran GO TO @FAISALPMAFITNESS GO TO @DIGME.

American brand Aaptiv are hosting the first in their series of live at home workouts with a sweaty cardio sesh care of trainer Ackeem. Make sure to tune in – just leave enough time for a shower before you jump back into work afterwards.

Pre and post natal specialist Rosie Stockley, aka @mamawelluk, is hosting an at home workout on Tuesday at 2pm for women after a 30 minute cardio and resistance session.

RWL (Results with Lucy) trainer Jenny Francis is holding an at-home 30-minute HIIT workout at 6pm Tuesday evening, requiring no equipment, just that you turn up and work hard!
