I’m not sure if you’re aware, but the summer of 2024 was the summer of pop music. Sabrina Carpenter taught us about me-espresso, Chappell Roan had everyone (even VIP) learning how to spell “H-O-T-T-O-G-O” with their arms, and then of course Charli XCX completely revolutionized the color chartreuse.

From the “Apple” dance to the return of Kesha and Paris Hilton to Addison Rae’s tribute to Diet Pepsi, the summer of 2024 was the grand return of pop music after what felt like several years of drought.

Luckily for us, even as fall has rolled around, the pop music has kept right on coming. Sabrina Carpenter’s album Short ’n’ Sweet is now blowing up the charts. Tate McCrae has returned with more choreo-filled music videos and Troye Sivan and Charli XCX are crisscrossing America on the Sweat Tour.

Speaking of sweat, there’s never a bad time to start working up some perspiration at the track or the treadmill. Fastest Marathon Runners, marathons With fall here in full force weather is finally cool enough that you can run two miles without clutching a Gatorade, and those Turkey Trots are right around the corner.

For October, we’ve built for you a playlist of nothing but pop bangers. Of course we had to start and end with brat, but in between you’ll hear many of the summer’s and running are picking back up.
