The Boulderthon (September 29), with its 26.2-mile race being named among the best fall marathons in the U.S. by Runner’s World, is one of the most picturesque races in Colorado. While it’s one of the newest events in the U.S. (only now in its fourth year), it’s also one of the fastest growing, doubling in size every year since its inception. You’ll start and finish in the iconic running mecca of downtown Boulder, with stunning views of the Flatirons throughout the course.

The biggest race of Boulderthon, though, is the half marathon.
