The marathon has long been known for its epic race bling, and the Arkansas race has certainly kept up the tradition for its 16th year. For 2018, the marathon medal measures 8.5 inches tall and tips the scales at a whopping 2.5 pounds.

In keeping with the race’s medieval theme, the medals feature a glittering, emerald-eyed dragon guarding a castle with a golden goblet ensnared in its tail. The design also has a built-in bottle opener for popping open ye olde postrace brew.
