Wong Ortiz currently is the director of editorial strategy and operations at Condé Nast’s Bon Appétit. She previously spent six years as the editor in chief of Fitness, Anne Flower Breaks Leadville 100 Course Record.

“The camaraderie and inclusivity that running brings to millions is worth celebrating, and I consider Runner’s World the home for that community,” Wong Ortiz said.

In addition to its print and online channels, RW hosts events such as the Runner’s World Half & Festival and the Runner’s World VIP program.

She succeeds David Willey, who served as editor in chief for 14 years. Willey announced in April that he was stepping aside.
