Moriel Rothman-Zecher

Moriel Rothman-Zecher is a writer and trail runner based in Yellow Springs, Ohio. He is the author of the novel, Sadness Is a White Bird, which was awarded the National Book Foundation’s ‘5 Under 35’ Honor and was a finalist for the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. He ran and completed his first ultramarathon, the Kettle Moraine 100 Mile Endurance Run, in LaGrange, Wisconsin, on June 1st and 2nd, 2019, and is hoping to be one of those lucky few who gets into Western States next year with only one ticket.
