I’ve shared the story of how Vlad and I met many times, but for a refresher, it was on The Ohio State swim team when we were both in college. My first swim meet was when I was merely 6 years old. My older sister swam with me for our entire swimming lives, including at Ohio State. My brothers played baseball and football, and one played in college.
To say sports have been a big part of our lives would be an understatement. Even though our collegiate swimming days are nearly half our lifetime ago (where does the time go?!), my background in sports and and for athletics reigns strong.
Both of our kids play baseball right now. It’s adorable. Vlad is the head coach for both teams, and I am the team manager. Watching our kids enjoy learning a sport and being part of a team fills us with tremendous joy. Do I hope they will become professional athletes? No, I don’t even think about that. Right now, as a family, we enjoy learning the game, playing the game, and watching the game.
This leads me to the MLB playoffs. Our house has been overtaken in the last few weeks with baseball games. The excitement over grand slams, strikeouts, and insane catches has left our baseball-loving family jazzed.
Four teams remain on the road to the World Series, and we have mixed emotions about who we want to win. The kids’ little league team is the NY Yankees, and we are Mets fans as well. Being born in Cleveland, I grew up watching its team. Our assistant coach’s team is the Dodgers, and we adore him and his family, so we are partial to the Dodgers as well.
Regarding the bag game for arrivals and departures, I’d say the Mets and the Yankees are winning. Do you agree?

What struck me most is that these guys are so happy. That lends an air of joy to these bags too. I have felt that from the bygone supermodel days, those photoshoots of Naomi and everyone they were happy. I don’t even look at Vogue anymore nowadays, just drab. Thank you for bringing that bounce back and brought a smile to my face this morning.
These guys’ style is 🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate how much personal style has become a ‘thing’ for men’s professional sports in recent years. Arguably, NBA players started the trend. It’s fun to watch!
Look at you loving MLB and the men’s fits now!
My new favorite spotlight: Men and their bags. I and the style they add to it. Some go the sporty route with sneakers, while others dress it up. Either way – and it.
Lovely post of vibrant bags and excellent style – i hope to more of this
I need Edwin Diaz’s multi-color sneakers in my life. These guys are all carrying great bags and I and how how chill and happy they all look.
NEED. hopefully more more boys and their bags, and their style
Absolutely!! We will keep it up as best we can!
Thank you for posting this. I always look forward to this article. It’d be great to see men with their bags out in the wild!
I will work on it – I see it some in Miami!
Ok so what sport is this, baseball? 🙂 🙂 The players are definitely catching up with their NBA counterparts. and it.

Marcus and Francisco have a collection I see 🕵🏾
Walker Buehler also seems to have a and for Bottega, which is so cool to see more under the radar collectors who just truly must and leather! And Marcus Stroehman with some archive (monogrammoflage is🔥) LV makes my OG heart sing. Ps college swim mom here ( my son is D2) and I’m a Michigan alum, had to smile at our shared 🥰
I will put aside your Michigan connection to remain bag friends – haha jk! I and a swim mom, you know the time stripes so well!
Great bags on these guys, right!? I never once showed up to a swim meet with a good bag… but I think the chlorine doesn’t mesh well with it! Ha
