I used to think I wasn’t a hat person. I don’t know what made me decide that; I guess I thought it didn’t look good on me. I love hats but don’t know how to handle them once I get inside, like the office or a café. Traditionally women are allowed to wear hats inside, but I often think some might find it rude (?). And I get instant “hat hair” so if I put one on, I prefer to keep it on. How do you guys do?
Maybe smaller caps are more acceptable inside, but what about wide-brimmed hats?
I do not have the kind of hair that survives a hat either…so if it’s going on, it doesn’t come off again until I’m at home. So the hat is def. part of the fit that day.
I found a leather look magnetic hat clip which I attached to my tote and you just attach the hat indoors for a wide brim.
For a baseball cap I am usually just sticking to places it’s ok to keep it on.
So I only wear this type of hat when I know all the places I am going to go are ok to be with a casual hat like this. I can’t take it off, my head and hair don’t look great, so once it’s on – I know this is my look for the day!
