The summer solstice has come and gone, marking today the first official day of summer! The days are longer, the temperatures are warmer, and summer’s unmistakable glee is palpable. The City is in the midst of its first official heat wave, which means New Yorkers are officially trading their blacks for all-white suits and neutral linens.
Of course, no outfit is complete without a good summer bag, and if you’re looking to spice up your summer looks, Polène’s new summer hues are the perfect way to celebrate summer. Inspired by nature, two pale, muted hues arrive this season, lending a fresh look of lightness.
Inspired by Nature
Aloe, a light green, and Wisteria, an ethereal purple, arrive in just 3 selected styles. One of the brand’s most coveted bags, the Numéro Dix, loved for its distinct half-moon shape and curved lines, shines in this season’s new hue.

The Le Dix offers a clean, minimalist appeal, but if you’re looking for something a bit more fun, the texture and fluidity of the Numéro Neuf Mini carries the colors really well. The Neuf Mini utilizes textured leathers, which sit nicely with the shape’s draping and pleated techniques.
Lastly, we’re throwing it back to an original, the Numéro Un, a staple in the Polène line-up. This season the feminine curves and soft lines of the mini are reinvigorated in new colors. Elegant and unique, yet incredibly easy to wear, there is a reason this bag has become one of the brand’s most iconic shapes.
The new summer shades have just hit Polène.com, and if you’ve got your eye on one, you should secure yours now, as certain popular shades tend to sell out.

I love these bags 😍😍😍
I’m sick to death of pale pastels. They age terribly.
To anyone that cares if a bag is returned the customer will be charged for both shipping and return postage. I was charged, but should’ve read their return policy more closely. However, years ago when I purchased, this wasn’t their policy so it caught me off guard.
I am taking a “trust but verify” approach. We will be in Paris next month and will check these out in the store. I really like the Ebene one but… will hold my verdict until I can see and handle them in person. They do seem appealing though!
