Anderson’s next move has yet to be confirmed.
Loewe’s Next Chapter
A week after announcing the departure of its beloved creative director, Jonathan Anderson, Loewe announces the appointment of his successors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The iconic duo are the founding faces behind one of fashion’s most cult-followed labels, Proenza Schouler.
The pair, who first met while attending college at New York’s famed Parsons School of Design, founded the label shortly after graduating. Their appointment at Loewe has been widely rumored since their departure from the label earlier this year.
The duo will oversee the creative processes for all Loewe collections, including womenswear, menswear, leather goods, and accessories. Their appointment will begin next month, on April 7th, 2025.

For me, it’s a great loss. He was the only Creative Director who managed to make a brand with almost 180 years of history so beloved worldwide (not even Narciso Rodríguez). He also put the brand where it deserves to be, with his unmistakable stamp of leather craftsmanship and expertise, as well as his innovative clothing offerings. I know he’s leaving for a great house like Dior and that he’s sure to leave his legacy in good hands. But we’ll always miss you, Jonathan!
He really is a force to be reckoned with. Can’t wait to see what Jonathan does next.
