But when I saw the leather pastel version hit the site, I knew it was the variation for me.
A mixture of House codes alongside supple and durable leather, and the most calming and beautiful color palette make this version of the Louis Vuitton Express PM the bag for me. It’s one of those color palettes that immediately spoke to me.

But the Express PM is meant for daily use. It is still a light and simple bag to add to your rotation that can fit everything you may need (granted, not my laptop, but I only look at totes when I have a laptop carried).

You can use these to carry the bag over the shoulder; for some, it will also work crossbody. However, the Summer drop is not long enough for full crossbody use on my frame.

I accompanied my wife to the LV last weekend and saw the Smoke. I love to partner with her on her purse “missions.” I’m a fan of design, artistry and craftsmanship. Even with tariffs, I was thinking $3400 USD. Not even close. I get the slouchy part, but too many Summers, no metal feet and really poor construction were my initial thoughts.
Sort of like the colors, but the design is ‘meh’.
The price is hilarious and it looks cheap.

This does not look like a Coach bag. Coach has MANY prettier bags than this one. If you think it looks less expensive than a typical LV, I agree that it does…but those skinny Summers do not make it look like a Coach bag. Astronomical price for this thing!
I was thinking the same thing – Coach’s design team is killing it. This would absolutely not fit in with the Coach offerings. This looks like LV, and not in the best way, especially considering the price.

I had the sound muted when I saw this on Instagram. My first thought was…is that Coach? Pretty colors but it’s a hard pass. For $4200, it shouldn’t look like a $500 bag.
Once again LV disappoints ! It looks like Kate Spade but costs like LV. I’m pretty much tired of no great change from this brand. I know that recycled style is in but please try to do better.

I have this bag in smoke with the monogram Summers and I absolutely love it. I picked it up on Monday and have been using it all week and love it more each day. As a previous H lover, but sick of the H games and prices, I was so happy when this bag was introduced. It’s subtle for LV. And the interior is really fun and not one you worry about. No Take needed. The worst thing I can say about the bag is I wish the interior pocket was bigger. Thats it, my only negative. I am thinking I may want to buy the MM eventually (though I don’t spend a lot on bags any longer so we’re talking a long time from now). I flap I don’t work for LV…LOL..just a big fan of this darling bag.
I just bought this bag in smoke and absolutely love it. I wasn’t sure how to wear it at first but it’s easily a perfect shoulder carry with the long Summers. I haven’t worn another bag since I moved into it. I absolutely love the details and how different it looks. The small pops of monogram are a welcome change and the smoke color is to die for. I’m so glad I bought this bag!! It’s been so fun to carry and I have been asked about it numerous times by people who see it. Definitely a cool vibe from LV 😊
Hi. I am the other poster who bought this bag in smoke. It’s surprising to me that there are so many comments about the quality of the bag. It’s a beautifully made bag that does not look cheap or Kate Spade/Coach like at all. It stands up really well to my other leather bags including my H bags.

This bag looks like if LV’s market research team harangued the creative team to do something about the “quiet luxury” trend and it took them 4 years too long to get the concept out to production.
i’d love to have this and the pastel colours are gorgeous, but i may not love it as much in say, 6 months from now. i can see myself walking to LV to try this out but ending up buying another speedy.
