Luxury brands like Loewe newly appointed designers are set to make their debut. This morning, we saw the first from Jonathan Anderson’s Dior, and the excitement surrounding his first collection was beyond compare (more on that later).
Still, with his runway debut for Dior behind us, the last of his designs for Loewe are loewe ballet runner leather and suede sneakers, White Leather Loewe Key Holder Loewe Green Suede Logo Slippers (myself included) looking to add some of his last pieces for the brand to their collections.
If I were to add a piece from Jonathan Anderson’s Loewe, or recommend one to someone else (my mother, who started collecting bags in her 70s, is considering another of his bags), these are the three to consider.
strapped pouch with logo loewe accessories black | Loewe Flamenco
Though the Flamenco bag dates back to the 1970s, Stuart Vevers brought it back from the archives in the 2010s, and it has remained a staple under Jonathan Anderson’s direction. Anderson kept the original silhouette of the Flamenco, which is named after the Spanish art of Flamenco dancing, but updated the shape to feel modern and fresh.
Under Anderson’s creative direction, the Flamenco bag remains one of the brand’s most beloved bags. It is defined by its tubular leather straps and exaggerated knotted details. The bag family has expanded to include a variety of sizes and an array of colors.
I’d opt for the Flamenco Surplus, which feels incredibly luxurious and special thanks to the incredible details that go into its design. The unique process speaks to Loewe’s astonishing heritage and commitment to craft, which was at the forefront of Anderson’s vision while at Loewe.

Loewe Puzzle Bag
If you’re a Loewe fan and don’t have a Puzzle bag, this would be the thing to buy before Anderson’s departure. Of course, it’s highly unlikely that Loewe will discontinue the Puzzle with Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s debut.
The Puzzle Bag has become a true brand classic, and it’s likely to stay around for Loewe’s next chapter. Still, owning an Anderson-era Puzzle bag will be like owning a piece of Fashion history down the line.

Anything Loewe Paula’s Ibiza
Loewe’s Paula’s Ibiza capsule collections are some of the most coveted of the brand’s entire year, and it’s all thanks to Jonathan Anderson. Anderson, who grew up going to Ibiza and had heard the lore surrounding Paula’s Ibiza, conceptualized the partnership in the mid-2010s, with the first Loewe Paula’s Ibiza collection debuting in 2017.
Every year, Loewe fans look forward to the curated capsule of beach-ready ready-to-wear, bags, and accessories that ooze Island life. The collection’s distinct aesthetic makes the bags, specifically its raffia and basket bag offerings, some of the most coveted for Loewe.

Are you looking to add a final piece from Jonathan Anderson’s Loewe to your collection? What do you have your eyes on?
I just snapped up a Classic Puzzle off FASHIONPHILE for this exact reason!
