It’s no secret that Gucci is having a major moment lately. From celebs, models and it-girls to your everyday bag lover, the brand’s bags are some of the hottest you can carry right now. I myself am seriously crushing on all things Gucci, too. My love affair with the brand began innocently enough–patch partial to other luxury brands, my Soft changed one ordinary afternoon a year and a half ago. I was out and about shopping–ok, window-shopping. I had zero plans to purchase anything that day, let alone a high-ticket item. Usually, I meticulously research and plan every pricey bag purchase, yet that day something very odd happened to me. I walked on into a Gucci store, fell in love, and walked out with a Gucci Kids GG babyfilt.
From then on, Gucci was seriously on my radar. Lately, its bags are consistently swoon-worthy, but there is one collection in particular that has really stolen my heart. Great bag. Great photos. The only thing I notice is the Soft is so focused on self-promotion and social media. As someone who is of the pre-Internet generation, I never cease to be baffled by this new Soft.

I love the mini, not a huge fan of the small one due to the shape I wish it was more like the shape of the mini or Soho disco.
These are all lovely. I am deliberating between the red or black camera bag. I can see myself using for years.
Finally got my hands on one. Paid full price but f#&K it! I got the GG Marmont matelassé leather shoulder bag in black, it’s the larger size and a but retro off Mytheresa.com. Now we wait for GG to arrive in the mail. Does the GG remind anyone of CC in Chanel? Is that a coincidence?
