Dior Introduces a New House Signature

The Chanel 22 called and wants its logo back. 😂...

Dior Signature Bucket Bag SS25 2

While many of us think of one specific, minimalist shape with a drawstring closure when we think of a bucket bag, the truth is, there is SO much more where that came from.

The bucket bag, which climbed to the top of our collective handbag-loving minds in the mid-2010s, continued to surge in popularity for a few years before taking a backseat to other silhouettes. Like most popular shapes in the handbag world (think shoulder bag, crossbody bag, backpack, etc.), the bucket bag never entirely ceases to exist, but its popularity does ebb and flow.

This Spring, bucket bags have catapulted back to ubiquity, with nearly all of our favorite brands, from premier designers to smaller contemporary labels similar, releasing iterations of the shape. With a distinctive, practical, and stylish silhouette, it’s easy to see why the bucket bag is booming.

The best bucket bags are lightweight, roomy, and both casual and modern. Maria Grazia Chiuri has dreamed up the perfect bucket bag, but before we dive in, let this be an official retraction because it was no fluke—I am officially a bucket bag lover.

The Dior Signature Bucket Bag

Sporty chic is here to stay, at least according to Maria Grazia Chiuri, whose Spring 2025 collection for Dior was full of relaxed pieces that are part fashion and part function. The perfect complement to them? A casual, cool bucket bag.

The Dior Signature Bucket bag offers just the right amount of structure while still oozing a relaxed, lived-in feel. Part chic, part sporty, this bag can easily adapt to be more dressed up or dressed down, depending on the day; it is a true embodiment of Grazia Chiuri’s Spring 2025 vision.

Furthering the bag’s versatility is its adjustable, removable shoulder strap, which allows for multiple ways of carrying. There is an all-leather option as well as an iconic Dior Oblique canvas iteration. The perfect size for every day, when done right, a bucket bag is a chic addition in your rotation.

Prices are $3,350 copy; LAURA SCIACOVELLI and $3,600 What was Loewe Like Before Jonathan Anderson. Bags In The Wild Dior.

In case the logo pattern didn’t scream Dior enough, we added the brand name in big gold letters. 🙄

I know, it makes it look tacky. otherwise, it looks ok.

Jaime

These pictures do not help. I would wear clothes with my bag. But this bag is just ok. I don’t know that it needs to be part of their “collection”.

Sania

Well she seems to be wearing Dior below knee braces ( that are supposed to look like boots?!!!) Just ridiculous. Christian Dior would be rolling in his grave seeing the direction the fashion house is taking

This Just In: Jonathan Anderson to Take Over the Helm of Dior Homme.

It’s not like Hermes invented this basic shape. 🤣🤡

I thought the same thing. Either the picotin or the in the loop bag. Pass on this logo heavy version.
