Jonathan Anderson’s Vision for the Lady Dior
Featuring Dior ambassadors Mia Goth, Greta Lee, and Mikey Madison, Anderson’s first designs for the House are revealed. Shot by David Sims at the Pavillon de Musique de la Comtesse du Barry, the campaign blends garden and interior settings that highlight Anderson’s modern perspective.
The clothing sets the tone: light, airy, and relaxed. Each star poses in a more understated, laid-back way. But the bag takes center stage. Anderson’s focus is on the Lady Dior, marking his first major bag moment at the brand. His feminine touch comes through in subtle updates, like pared-back versions with a sleek leather bow detail alongside the iconic D-I-O-R charms.
Fresh Details and Feminine Touches
Other versions showcase more intricate craftsmanship, with leather embellishments shaped like clovers, daisies, and other floral motifs. The result is stunning, breathing new life into a beloved bag while offering a completely fresh perspective.
I’ll admit my bias. I’ve been a Jonathan Anderson fan for years. But this collection has me newly infatuated with the Lady Dior. It’s one of the few Dior bags I don’t own, and suddenly it feels fresh, necessary, and entirely lust-worthy.

at first I was just seeing the regular ones with the bow but the green clovers, the daisies and the bees(my favourite I think, maybe I need more clothes that are complimented by yellow??

Oooh, I love the little yellow one! Alas, as much as the bag is gorgeous, I don’t thing I’d ever buy one, because (aside from price) I’m not sophisticated in any way so it would look silly on me!
Anyone can wear the Lady Dior! I have a black one and wear it with jeans and a t-shirt. You don’t have to wear designer clothes or anything fancy; the bag elevates any outfit.
The bags are so cheeky and joy bringing, which for an old stuffed hat like the Lady Dior is no mean feat. The clothes, though… I Looooove the trumploy Hussar Jacket and shirt. Looove the daisy skirts and the Polo shirts. Breaks my heart that JWA left Loewe to a brand I do not plan to patronise. The clothes are so good and a breath of fresh air.
