By and large, the looks at Monday night’s tech-themed 2016 Met Gala were a little bit boring (the world has now been emptied of silver sequins and beads because they were all on the Upper East Side last night), but there was one very bright spot (for us, anyway): tons of celebrities carried interesting clutches.
Formal red carpets often involve stars handing off their bags to publicists before being photographed or hanging on to boring little box clutches, but last night’s picks included some solid choices, from Karlie Kloss’s light-up evening bag to Allison Williams’s customized Edie Parker.
