Varsity LIGHT Helmets LS2 Football Helmet

720581-LS2-CV

The LIGHT LS2 Composite Varsity Football Helmet delivers all-around protection while optimizing weight. As one of the lightest helmets on the market, the LIGHT LS2 promotes optimal performance and reaction times for the player. Its ultra-strong and light outer-shell is forged from the same tri-weave composite material used in U.S. Military helmets and is up to half the weight of other helmets. The composite impact absorption technology helps to reduce kinetic energy from collisions while also reducing fatigue and improving player protection during each snap. With the patented ArmorFoam™ (borrowed from aerospace technology originally licensed by NASA), the inner-lining is engineered to absorb impact, rather than simply redirecting it. Additional features include the Chromoly steel face mask that provides ideal balance, a D3O® fitment kit for an adjustable fit that provides additional protection, and a 5-star safety rating from Virginia Tech.
