The Gen 3 Armasight MNVD is a multi-purpose night vision monocular, lighter and more compact than the classic monocular. The MNVD can be employed as a hand-held, head-mounted, helmet-mounted, or weapon-mounted night vision device. With an extra-wide 51-degree field of view , you can maintain maximum situational awareness, easily navigate your surroundings and track moving vehicles and objects. Hands-free operation is seamless using optional head and helmet mounting options - the MNVD senses the position it is in, shutting the unit off when moved up and out of the users line of sight and automatically resuming operations when moved back into position for use, extending battery life and maintaining light discipline.
