Making your own pizza can be an involved process. However, Urban Slicer Pizza Worx makes this technical process easy and user friendly. Just add water, and you have dough! Don't know how to stretch the dough? Don't worry! Matt Frampton from Urban Slicer will walk you through the process in the video above!

Preheat Oven

Prepare Oven

Set the pizza oven for high heat cooking, approximately 700°F. Or, preheat a conventional oven to 500°F.

Mix Urban Slicer’s Neapolitan Dough with Water

Prepare Dough

Either in a bowl or on a clean surface, slowly incorporate one cup of warm water into one packet’s worth of dough. Mix either by hand for 10 min. or with a stand mixer for 8 min., until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Form Two Dough Balls

Form the Dough

Cut the dough into two identical balls. Then fold each inside out six times to trap air inside the dough.

Let the Dough Rise

Let the Dough Rise

Lightly coat each ball with olive oil to prevent sticking and place them both into a container to rise. Let the dough rise for 2-4 hours at room temperature.

Prepare a Surface to Stretch the Dough

Flour the Surface

Once the dough has risen, prepare a clean surface with a 50/50 mixture of bread flour and semolina flour to help shape the dough.

Stretch the Dough

Stretch the Dough

Form the crust by impressing a circle in the dough with your fingers until the dough is a six to seven inch circle. With one hand, stretch the dough slightly and then turn the dough with the other. Work your way around the dough until it's slightly larger than your hand. Then, lift the dough and keep rotating it with your fists while gravity stretches the dough into about a 13 inch pie. Flour a pizza peel and transfer the dough onto it.

Add Sauce and Toppings

Add Toppings!

Spoon half a can of Urban Slicer Pizza Sauce into the middle of the pie and spread the sauce in a circular motion until it covers the pie, but not the crust. After the sauce is added top with the basil leaves. Cover and protect the basil with pinches of fresh mozzarella. Drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle some Urban Slicer White Pizza Mojo to add extra flavor.

Bake the Pizza

Bake the Pizza!

With the pizza oven at around 700°F put the pizza into the oven for 2-4 min. making sure to rotate the pizza so that the crust closest to the fire doesn’t burn. Or place the pizza in a conventional oven at 500°F for 8-10 min.

Slice and Enjoy!
