The Japanese toy company MediCom Toy was founded in 1996, initially sharing the premises with a tonkatsu restaurant in the Ebisu district of Tokyo. Over time, the company turns into a global phenomenon. The toy manufacturer's insanely coveted collectibles / designs draw on anime and traditional pop culture and are produced in very limited quantities. The most popular toy lines are the Kubrick series and, of course, BE@RBRICK.
