Asics Gel Kayano

GEL-Kayano is one of the longest running performance lines out of Japanese imprint ASICS. Toshikazu Kayano designed the first iteration of what’d become the storied series bearing his name in 1993, aiming to achieve both unwavering stability and lightweight performance. Since that point, the ASICS GEL-Kayano has received new models on just about a yearly basis.

The current ASICS GEL-Kayano model is the 30, but the GEL-Kayano 14 is unquestionably the more impactful sneaker from a streetwear perspective. One of the faces of the modern tech runner movement, the GK14 marks continuous sell-outs on both its general release colorways and a sturdy catalog of collabs.
