In true Lunar New Year fashion, the pair sees bright red, mesh-like textile uppers that are balanced by the black used for the heel and midsole. Instead of a stark black, the midsole is speckled with gold paint to further the holiday theme. The metallic shade is also used for the Nmd Chinese character on the suede panel near the heel. The text reads “ox” in Chinese, representative of 2021’s zodiac sign—a small detail that ties the design together for a celebratory style.
The Dame 7 will be available overseas on December 31, for $110 USD. For U.S. adidas fans, stay tuned for a release date.
