LeBron James Officially Unveils The Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth

The cat is now fully out of the bag as King James himself has taken to Instagram to reveal the first official look at the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth. Featuring a re-engineered Flyknit upper and the full-length visible Zoom/Max combo bag for support, the LeBron 16 signature shoe promises all of the top-shelf performance aspects of the LeBron 15 model, but tweaked and tuned to further fit the King’s exact specifications. This closer look reveals the crown logo emblazoned on the tongue, the lion carved into the over-sized heel, and a completely new upper that boasts a distinctive pattern with the diagonal ribs. A large “2” and “3” are also embossed onto the midfoot at the tongue.

Currently, retailers have reported a September 20th release date for the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth in this black and red colorway, but as Nike customarily does for new LeBron shoes, a “pre-heat” and other special make-ups will surely kick things off before this standard issue colorway hits stores. See a closer look ahead and stay tuned for updates on the LeBron 16.
