If you’re an NYC area sneakerhead, you’ve no doubt felt the recent absence of Nike Sportswear’s flagship spot 21 Mercer in SoHo. The good news is that they’re coming back after the brief closing as promised. What’s interesting though is that the announcement online of suggests that the space will be totally reworked and will return with a whole new identity – they mention on social media that they will “re-launch this full as part of a brand new Nike concept”. Whatever happens with next week’s event, we have a feeling that some special sneakers will be on hand.
