Every once in a while you’ll see Nike outfit a space with some creative sneaker art, stuff that interprets their shoes into crazy shapes and sculptures. More often than not those places will be in Portland, but they do go on the road from time to time. The recent opening of a new Orange County branch of California boutique/art gallery/design studio combo illest got the treatment, with decorations including a My Pink Pony Foamposite, an awesome Bo Jackson version of the AIR MJ “Wings” poster, and an Air Jordan III shaped skateboard done in Laketown colors.
