After previewing several Three Stripes pairs in the past few months, they’re sticking around in Germany but swapping brands. Revisiting a previous motif, founder Hirofumi Kojima previewed a third edition of their Sukajan Puma Suede.
Last released in 2021 with blue and black editions, atmos’ take on the lifestyle silhouette prints rich synthetics on the quarter panels, replicating vintage souvenir jackets as faithfully as possible. In line with that, rich dragon embroidery arrives over top of a golden Formstrip with additional platinum clouds dotted around it. Finally, on the medial side, a modified (read: certainly not to scale) map of Japan stretches from the toe to the collar, closed out with a depiction of Mt. Fuji and cursive “Japan” text underneath.
