After properly honoring the occasion with an all-grey pair at the end of March, successive colorways have leaned into the luxe look that brought the model so much success in the first place. It’s a familiar, tonal arrangement on this shoe, running parallel to the M 6 / W 7.5 it drops alongside. Like that shoe, a smattering of greys and creams set the tone up top, continuing through an off-white midsole and gum traction underfoot. Though that formula has obviously brought New Balance a ton of success, Boston designers saw fit to bring a little bit of pop on this shoe. Patriotic notes of navy & white allude to the “Made In England” program while setting up some complementary vibrancy on branding spots dotted throughout.
