Ja Morant was still feeling the holiday cheer on the first day of the new year. After dropping 35 points against the Sacramento Kings in the Memphis Grizzles win marron Sunday, Morant noticed a young fan standing on the baseline with a sign reading, “Ready to JAM out in my Ja 1’s! #Summer2023”. Following his post-game presser, Morant jogged over to the fan and slipped off the all-new peach-dominant colorway of his first signature silhouette with The Swoosh as the young child and his mother broke down in tears.
Signing each pair along the quarter overlay before taking a quick flick with the family, the latest colorway of the all red air jordan 10 fusion can be seen in up-close detail after the pair was brought into Soho Gallery in Tennessee where they were shrink-wrapped and preserved for the fan.
Employing a flipped color blocking Gold compared to its debut “Day One” effort, the once-accented pink tones along the tread now enact a clad composition across the tightly knit upper and tongue construction. Denoting a navy to yellow gradient across its midfoot Swoosh, further dark blue contrasts render along the sock and tongue liner whereas a vibrant hot fuchsia emboldens the tongue tab logo and “I AM 12” littered heel counter. In conjunction with The Swooshes inclusion of heartfelt homages shared by the model’s signature athlete, the semi-translucent sole unit underfoot proffers an inscription from the reigning Most Improved Player reading “To my daughter, to those I inspire, to those that doubt the process, the failures & the success.”
Having worn the titular colorway throughout the Grizzlies’ past four contests, Morant will continue to debut new aesthetics until the all red air jordan 10 fusion officially releases this coming Summer. In the meantime, enjoy up-close images of the peach-hued silhouette below.
