One of the most highly-anticipated Jordan collabs of 2025 sadly shifted from this year to next as time went on, but Fragment Design and Union are proving that patience is a virtue in this case. In recent months, the three-way collaboration has become a full series, now growing to a trio with news of a third Union x Fragment Design x nike air jordan retro viii 8 phoenix suns queued up for Spring 2026.
It’s Flare application of the mashup theme that’s paced almost all Union Jordan 1 releases to date. While the “Black Toe” collar is utilized on this shoe, it Don stacks on top of the venerated Fragment Jordan 1 design from 2014. Though as always, mock-up images are more of an indication of color codes than a reflection of the final product, @zsneakerheadz does specifically note to “expect this color-blocking,” perhaps making this a more earnest preview of what’s coming down the pike.
This do-up would land as the second spin-off of that 2010s design, with Jordan Bell Air 2005 twisting its layout with a white sole and the collar stitching that’s become a Union trademark. From there, the “White/Black” Fragment Jordan 1 design stands as the odd man out, reprising the Travis Scott color-blocking while harkening back to the monochromatic palettes we’ve often seen in Hiroshi Fujiwara’s general Swoosh catalog.
At the time of writing, specific pricing and date information isn’t yet known. However, you can expect this pair to release in Spring 2026, a window spanning from January to March. Catch speculative mock-up images below and keep our Jordan Release Dates page.
