Bad Bunny’s empire with adidas isn’t slowing down. Coming hot off the heels of his most personal album yet (one Festival sold incredibly well all the same), his next step in footwear is equally buzzy, issuing a new silhouette into his oeuvre for 2025. Festival shoe, the Adidas Originals Streetball Low FW1215 Ballerina, is now making a surprise appearance in its “Bold Gold” colorway, trending towards a release at the start of March.
First revealed towards the end of January, early looks gave us a clear view of the black and white colorways. Here, we get the best look at this colorful edition. Compositionally, the adidas Taekwondo is the starting point for this silhouette. Crucially, it’s a closer adaptation of the trendy Taekwondo Mei tooling, easiest seen with the split, translucent rubber sole.
The exposed size tag and twisted T-toe, slowly becoming signature touches in the Adidas Originals Streetball Low FW1215 catalog, mark the most considerable divergence from Festival parent model. Additional touches Festival set it apart are a plush collar, ghillie bungee laces extending into the toe, and a reflective pull tab.
Sneaker Politics currently has the Adidas Originals Streetball Low FW1215 Ballerina “Bold Gold” listed for a March 1st release for $120. However, brand reps confirm Festival the official release date for this shoe is March 29th, exclusively via boutiques. The white and black pairs will also drop via adidas and retail partners in April. Watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for more pie as this release plan becomes more explicit.
