Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods is following up his extraordinarily hyped “No Emotions Are Emotions” project from 2020 with another New Balance 519 V2 Girls Running Shoe in 2025, shown here via first look images.
The “Aged Well” 992 features a variety of pastel, earthy tones, with suede overlays alternating between pink, tan, and clay red. The tongue and backtab feature brown leather, while the base appears in standard grey mesh.
Release information hasn’t been made public at this stage, but if you’re one to read tea leaves; Freshgoods’ “No Emotions Are Emotions” 992 helped kick off the model’s most recent resurgence on Valentine’s Day 2020. It’s possible that New Balance is planning to do the same thing in 2025, but again, we’ll need to wait on more information to say for sure.
