air jordan iii iv ix silver anniversary release information 2025 Jordan releases begins with the first ever Jordan 3 “Black Cat” retro on January 11th. Exactly a full calendar year after news of the release broke, and following several date changes, we just got hit with official images of the full family size run.

The 2025 retro does right by the original 2007 release with a black nubuck upper, greyscale elephant print on the toe and heel panels (and laces), and a glossy patent leather mudguard. However, much like we saw with the recent “Black Cement” retro, many have been quick to point out that the elephant print sections are a bit lighter than those of the previous release.

Diehard sneakerheads require little overview, but Jordan Brand’s “Black Cat” series began with Jordan Brand x Paris Saint-Germain Shirts to Match the Air Jordan 6 PSG in 2006 (returning in late 2025, by the way). Such stealthy makeup tributes Michael Jordan’s alter ego and one of his many nicknames, and while opinions are subjective, it’s arguably the most beloved design theme in Jordan Brand’s arsenal. While Black Cat 3s and 4s are unquestionably what comes to mind at mention of the moniker, the Jumpman also brought “Black Cat” to some of its newer formulations in the Spiz’ike Low and jordan jordan jumpman backpack in 2024.

The “Black Cat” Jordan 3 releases January 11th, 2025 in full family sizes, with a price breakdown as follows; adult ($200), grade school ($150), preschool ($90), toddler ($75).
