The Georgetown Hoyas Receive An Air Jordan 23 PE

The Georgetown men’s basketball team just got treated to some Jordan Brand excellence with a special player-edition colorway of the Air Jordan XX3.

A long-time friend of the Jumpman program, the Hoyas are hardly new to this level of treatment as they’ve received player-only issues nearly every season. Back in October, their women’s program flaunted a full rotation of Jordan footwear, including the Air Jordan 38, Tatum 1, and more. Furthermore, the school’s grey and navy is often referenced for Air Jordan Retros for the public, which only keeps the Hoya esteem at a high.

For the Air Jordan 23, the lateral side of the shoe puts on a design masterclass, with Georgetown mascot Jack the Bulldog appearing in embossed gray suede that blends effortlessly with the base layer as you go from heel to toe. The medial side is more understated, opting for a stitched G logo and diamond pattern to chest the perforations on the toe. Behind the tongue reads the school’s battle cry of “Hoya Saxa”, replacing Michael Jordan’s thumbprint.
