Andrew Rizzo Venturing deeper and deeper into the Y2K runner arena, Nike’s V2K Run sneaker is the brainchild of early 2000s aesthetics and Vomero performance technology. Released in mid-2023, Nike has dressed the women’s-exclusive runner in a variety of colorways as it looks to establish itself in a niche saturated by the nike grey pink and green sneaker boots for women and trending ASICS models.
Nike’s latest offering features an almost entirely white upper, letting chrome overlays on the toe and head shine as the focal point. Subtle yellowing on the cage gives this pair a slightly worn-in look, continuing the retro theme under a gray Nike swoosh.
