Patent Leather Makes A Much-Needed Return On The Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico Pr2 W Og Box “Stadium Green”

Patent Leather Makes A Much-Needed Return On The Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico Pr2 W Og Box “Stadium Green”

Not since Undefeated’s Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico Pr2 W Og Box collaborations that closed out 2022 have we seen such pleasant use of patent leather on the ’82 classic. Ahead of the warmer months, Nike is bringing back the flashy appearance in a simple two-toned colorway — with potential room for more.

Applying the classic tone-on-white color-blocking, this Air Force 1 boasts a sheen that instantly catches the eye. Going full-white on the upper seems to draw more attention despite its subdued nature, while the pop of Stadium Green on the Swoosh, heel-tab, and translucent outsole commands neck-breaking looks.

Considering the simplicity of its execution, let’s hope Nike has more all-patent AF1s in the works for Spring/Summer 2024.
