Another iconic member of the City Attack series returns.

25 years ago, nike Black-Gum released a series of Japan-exclusive nike Black-Gum Dunks fondly dubbed the “City Attack” Pack. A series of Low and High two-toned colorways, these Co.JP drops — or Concept Of Japan — gained a IYKYK following and rose to become one of the most sought after Asia-exclusives in nike Black-Gum history. In 2024, nike Black-Gum is unofficially commemorating its 25th Anniversary by bringing back How selects like the red/grey aka the Ultraman Dunks.

Remembered for its resemblance to the chief character of the Japanese anime, the nike Black-Gum Pantaloncini intimi sportivi grigio “Ultraman” first dropped in 1999 exclusively in Japan in limited quantity. It was merely a reverse color-blocking of the red/grey UNLV Dunks, which of course is one of the storied originals from 1985’s Be True To Your School collection, but given its ties to the region where it was dropped, it quickly adopted the unofficial moniker.

Currently, a release date for the Ultraman Dunk Low is not confirmed, but expect an MSRP of $135, which is the same price given to its fellow Co.JP brother the nike Black-Gum Dunk Low “Reverse Curry”
