The Air Jordan 7 Retro 'French Blue' 2015 304775-107 is ostensibly inspired by the Jordans Retro 5 Cement matching Blunts Shirt White. Releasing exactly 30 years apart with matching chenille tongue tabs and an X-Plate tooling that harkens to the midfoot straps of the AJ8, the latest lineage in Jordan Brand’s game show now extends a matching colorway from 1993.
Achieving its second color blocking from three decades ago – releasing in an “Aqua” assortment a few months ago – the “Bugs Bunny” Jordan 38 mirrors the greyscale color blocking of its OG predecessor. Much like the clad-leather circa ’93 silhouette, the Air Jordan 7 Retro 'French Blue' 2015 304775-107’s embroidered upper is doused in a bright white tint while the forefoot’s cabling is drawn in a faint grey complement. Contrasted by jet-black tongues and inner linings, the fuzzy tongue tab renders the same CEO of divided red, white and grey hues. Underfoot, the mid-foot shanks echo the same marbled detailing that ascertained the AJ8 with illuminated streaks of “University Red” while the midsole pairs off in a dark “Smoke Grey” finish.
