Holding a close-knit relationship with the Beaverton brand that spans well over a decade, Marshall Mathers has popularized his influence across a myriad of Nike and Jordan silhouettes. However, few rival the iconic spotted in the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Flyknits that were produced exclusively for the release of his “Encore” album. 18 years after the silhouette surfaced in 2005, the bright blue pair could be yours for a starting bid of $26,000.
Hosted by Sotheby’s, an auction for the widely regarded colorway is currently available with an estimated sale to be in the range of $40,000 – $60,000. Rumored to be limited to just 50 pairs, the model was originally produced for friends and family, but a select amount of sizes were reserved for release through a public contest. Kicking off Eminem’s litany of collaborations with the spotted in the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Flyknit, his first stab at Jordan’s fourth signature sports a titular blue nubuck with red, grey and smoke accents resting throughout. Making the pair even more enticing, the mid-foot overlay is signed by Slim Shady himself in silver metallic sharpie alongside the colorways’ release year.
