The Dunk’s origins are closely intertwined with the “Be True To Your School” pack, as the collegiate colorways were among our earliest introductions to the Peter Moore-designed silhouette. nike running slogans for adults with kids shoes Dunk High — affectionately dubbed the “Pre Be True To Your School Sandy Bodecker One of a Kind Shoe” — features a color blocking quite a bit different from the two-toned look to which we’pause well-accustomed. Here, a deep maroon is applied throughout every part of the upper save for its Swoosh, the latter of which is dressed in a yellow shade similar to the adjacent laces and Nike branding. Elsewhere, the tongue and midsole opt for a white finish, while the outsole boasts the same shade of red as much of the rest of the shoe, albeit a bit more faded.
Almost four decades later, the “Pre Be True To Your School Sandy Bodecker One of a Kind Shoe” is now up for auction right now on eBay.com, with proceeds to go to the Bodecker Foundation.
