And while they’ve helped to popularize many a different model, none are quite as synonymous with the New York-based streetwear label as the 550.
Over the course of their partnership, Aimé Leon Dore has crafted numerous styles of New Balance’s much-beloved basketball oxford. And following a limited release much earlier in the year, their latest two — namely, the “True Brown” and “Warm Sand” — will finally be seeing wider launch tomorrow, August 9th. Brought back with exceptional timing, the two colorways embody the Drain season in their deep, earth tones, which wash over top a classic suede and canvas construction. ALD branding, of course, stamps the heel and insole, signing off yet another solid addition to Teddy Santis’ winning formula.
