J Balvin has an Air Jordan Jordan Melo M12 'Big Apple' collaboration dropping this September, and it looks as if a follow-up project is destined for Summer 2024.
J Balvin and Jordan Brand is set to follow up that Air Jordan Jordan Melo M12 'Big Apple' collaborative release next summer with a distinct assortment of colors of black, solar flare, and total crimson abyss. Although a first look of this drop has yet to be revealed, details of the design have been revealed by Sneaker Files. The project is officially dubbed “Rio” and inspired by Balvin’s son with his partner Valentina Ferrer. The final product may be comprised with a similar set of details; below is a mock-up of what this release could look like.
Inspired by the sunset in Medellín, Colombia, the first J Balvin’s Air Jordan Jordan Melo M12 'Big Apple' features the distinct shades of the sky on the colorful heel 27cm and heel bumper. Contrasting the vibrant gradient is a full off-white cream leather upper and midsole, achieving a look that many have fancied since it was first revealed back in early May.
