Jovani Hernandez Ahead of International Women’s Day, NIKE, Inc. will launch a commemorative On-Foot Look at the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 21 Low Concord "Championship Parade" PE throughout Europe.
Focused on the women’s rights movement, IWD takes place on March 8 as a callback to organized strikes by women in textile factories in 1857. Brand Jordan’s celebratory retro takes on a compelling “Amethyst Wave” and “Canyon Purple” color scheme, making reference to the global holiday via a number of graphics and messages. The words “Equality” and “Unity” appear on the leather toe box, while flora and suns add brightness to the area. Furthermore, a message of hope accompanies the “hand-drawn” figures: “Because One Day This Day Will Be Our Everyday.”
