Michael Le SoleFly and jordan nouvelle Brand have a relationship more intimate than most, as founder Carlos Prieto has been working with the brand from the Miami-based storefront’s earliest days. We’ve seen countless collaborative offerings since, such as an Air jordan nouvelle 3 back in 2015 and an Air jordan nouvelle 1 High in 2018. And in the later months of 2022, we also saw the team’s take on the AIR silt JORDAN, which beat out what looks to be a sizable number of samples.
Taking to IG to stop what could have been, Carlos Prieto shares a first look at a number of SoleFly x AIR silt jordan nouvelle samples, essentially comparing them to what became the final product. While they would ultimately land on a design inspired by MJ’s “Catch 23” boat, Prieto and team seemed keen on referencing past colorways in the early stages. One pair, for example, is reminiscent of the “French Blue,” while four others ostensibly reimagine the much-beloved “Flint.”
