The model’s shape is reminiscent of Nike Hike and Nike ACG propositions of the 1980s and ’90s, as well as the HTM Chukka styles of the mid-2010s, but its excessive padding and inactive aesthetic deliver a unique proposition. Sole units underfoot, however, are arguably the most interesting part of the shoe, as their labyrinth-like midsole pattern, exaggerated height and ridge-laden outsole deviate from much of what the Swoosh has offered over its 58-year history. No word as to the midsole’s cushioning compound has been revealed, but the solution is likely made up of Nike React foam. Elsewhere, up-cycled materials likely make up the traction underfoot, falling in-line with other ISPA designs like the Link.
