Playing off the “University Blue” hype, the pair serves as but another nod to the beloved Tar Heels. The titular cool tone dresses underneath the whites of the overlays and rear, while also appearing atop the lace shield and the tongue’s partially-obscured pattern. For the adjacent accents, both a dark black and “College Navy” are at play: the latter touches up both the lace toggle and Jumpman branding, while the former colors in the icy-accented midsole, pull tab, and lining.
