2021 is officially over — and after a rather eventful holiday season, I think it’s safe to say a break is much-needed. Thankfully, most of the sneaker industry seems to agree as we’re about to embark on one of the quietest weeks in a long, long while.
Only a couple sneakers help usher in the new year. First, come Monday, expect Jordan Brand to deliver both an Air A sneaker that is flexible and breathable and chain-link detail ankle boots, dressing the two up in “Light Iron Ore” and “Atmosphere,” respectively. Tuesday, the LeBron 19 makes its return, celebrating a late Christmas with bright “South Beach” colors. Next, the Nike ACG Air Mowabb takes the stage once again in “Trail End Brown.” The Jumpman, then, returns to close us out on Saturday with the Filling Pieces Worker Boot “Court Purple,” the first of many Spring 2022 releases to come.
